Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Plain language, no dark patterns.
When you tap Translate on a post or comment, the text is sent to a third-party translation provider (Lingva by default). Translations are cached so the same content is not re-sent. The provider receives only the text being translated, not your account info.
When you submit a report, your username, the reported content, the reason, and any details you add are sent to our moderation team (hello.anchae@gmail.com) and stored in our reports queue.
If you provide a phone number, we use it only for account recovery (SMS verification). It is never displayed publicly and is not shared with third parties.
Anchae is not intended for users under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will remove their account.
We use Supabase for authentication, database, and media storage. Media uploads (post images/videos and profile photos) are stored on Supabase Storage. Reports may be sent via Resend for email delivery.
Anchae is a peer support community, not a mental health service. No content constitutes professional, medical, legal, or therapeutic advice.
We'll announce material changes in-app before they take effect.
